I've been a fan of the diy tech/software scene for a good while, but I've never actually tried my hand at anything in that realm before. Tech, hardware and software, have never been my forte. I'm hoping that that changes with this website! Figuring out how to get html and css to do what I want it to do has been a fun puzzle so far, and a nice distraction during my down time. I've got aspirations of breaking into science communications, including making a blog of some sort. Writing for this website should be good practice, and becoming more familiar with html/css certainly won't hurt.
The holidays have been pretty good for me so far! Got a fair few books to add to the stack, as well as some nice new winterwear. (Side notes: a list of books I'm currently reading and/or list of books I've read might be a nice page to add). I'll be heading to a friend's place for New Year's Eve for a party with a bunch of college friend tommorrow, which I am looking forward to! I did the same thing last year. Although, the party has a theme this year: "Anything but a cup", and I'm a bit stumped on what to bring. I'm sure I'll think of something approprietly wacky.
